The campaign and activist platform "Assange.TV" aims to support the work of volunteer activists – in the field of "political prisoners" – with their experience and expertise. We have an extensive proprietary database with numerous activists and suitable service providers in most countries.
The main project:
A TV format that broadcasts 365 days a year (web TV/Astra) and coordinates actions in all 193 UN member states, presenting them visually via livestream. One of our goals is to ensure that a simple majority of UN member states convene an emergency meeting on the topic of "Julian Assange".
Regular light projections at prominent public squares in all UN member states on the topic of "Julian Assange" draw public attention and thereby increase the pressure on governments there to take action on the matter.
Mobile prisons on flatbed trucks, filled with VIPs and politicians, are vividly illustrating the plight of Julian Assange and other political prisoners to the world via livestream. No one can look away. Assange.TV broadcasts these live streams continuously. We create silicone masks for the activists, mimicking Julian Assange's features, to make the prison scenes as realistic as possible. VIPs like Pamela Anderson and other Assange supporters share the livestream to increase its reach.
The following must be prevented:
Julian Assange faces up to 175 years in prison in the US if he is extradited. Instead of continuing to pursue a legal solution to the case, we are trying to increase pressure on the American government through our actions worldwide.
The side projects:
Another goal is to initiate a grassroots movement in countries with restricted press freedom or strong internet surveillance by setting up mobile hackerspaces, which we ourselves are building as a digital computer club for young people, in order to promote digital resistance in these countries and give whistleblowers the opportunity to securely share their information in encrypted form.
We invest an average of €25.000 in each UN member state to provide the necessary equipment to promote cross-border, encrypted freedom of information.
The equipment consists of a cargo bike equipped with communication and video technology, which we send to every UN member state – as a base platform for the protest. The activists fighting for the freedom of Julian Assange and other political prisoners are connected to our Assange.TV project via livestream from the cargo bike.
A Wi-Fi hotspot, sound boxes and a small generator give the activists diverse and flexible options for further protest actions coordinated with us throughout the year.
In addition, we are expanding our structures in the countries with the cargo bike and can take action promptly and spontaneously in response to current events.
We are offering a €1.000.000 prize for information that would be so valuable to the American government as to lead to the release of Julian Assange.
The project “@JailedLike Assange – Prisoners like a political prisoner” is part of the Assange.tv project, as we use mobile prisons to exert daily public pressure on parliamentarians and the press to address the Assange case, as well as the fate of other political prisoners.
Bunker for whistleblowers:
In Switzerland, we want to be a central point of contact for people who identify as political refugees, like Julian Assange was at the Ecuadorian embassy; we also want to create a refuge for whistleblowers. If we were to receive information that would lead America to extradite Julian Assange, we could also take the whistleblower in and have the costs covered by the aid community.
The stationary emergency program for the prison simulation @JailedLike Assange:
A team of activists is locked in a cell in shifts, filmed and streamed, to show that the action is underway and we are "there" in case no videos or images can be received from abroad, thus ensuring a 24/7 presence.
"Ask not what your country can do for you, say what you can do for Assange"—this adaptation of John F. Kennedy's historic quote shines brightly at the US Embassy in Berlin. The Americans, who regularly commit war crimes, from defoliants in the Vietnam War with hundreds of thousands of victims to the murder of journalists in the Iraq War, must withdraw their extradition request.

And because the truth has been kept secret for so long, and no government is taking Julian's side, the British will certainly hand Julian over to the Americans. Old campaigns for other political prisoners
The European arrest warrant should not be used to persecute political opponents. The German judiciary has good reasons not to extradite Carles Puigdemont to Spain. Criminal law is being rediscovered in an unsavory way as a tool for domestic political conflict and the persecution of political opponents. The German judiciary should not take sides in the political dispute in Spain and, not least because of painful historical experiences with the criminalization of political opinion, should not provide any support. Should it nevertheless agree to the extradition, legal recourse is available, and ultimately, the Catalan can appeal to the Federal Constitutional Court. At that point, at the very latest, the rights of the individual should take precedence over the power games in Spain.

The Arab Spring was supposed to bring about a breakthrough and usher in a new era of democracy. But the rebels of that time are now political prisoners. The people who risked their lives in countries marked black on Amnesty International's Press Freedom Index are now imprisoned and forgotten by the world. This is where PixelHELPER wants to intervene and free these political prisoners.
Our first action aims to bring to light the story of 13 people who have been imprisoned since March 2011. The "Bahrain 13" were arrested in the Bahraini capital, Manana, following the February 2011 uprisings, accused of conspiring against the government. Many countries and organizations, such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, have repeatedly drawn attention to the torture they endured. The prisoners were visibly tortured.
The worries don't end for the families either. These political prisoners are still in prison today, serving sentences ranging from five years to multiple life terms. Everyone has the right to express their opinion. Let's not forget the good people who sacrificed their own freedom to bring democracy and peace to many.
