PixelHELPER believes in the principle that made historical resistance possible in the first place: people who do not simply look away, but take responsibility.
Robin Hood is a legend. Stauffenberg is history. And we are writing our own history with art projects following in the footsteps of Christoph Schlingensief & 13 years of political activism.
Without people who were willing to take personal responsibility and significant risks, acts of resistance such as July 20 would never have happened.
We do not expect everyone to become an informant or spend years investigating political networks. But democracy needs more than likes, retweets, and moral outrage from the comfort of the couch.
Be brave. Be loud. Be part of it when a small group of people sparks a major change in society.
